BRIT-ASIAN.Com's Shinata Sangha brings you an exclusive interview with one of India’s most infamous supermodels and catwalk diva, a Gladrags Mega Model 2000 winner, Miss India Tourism 2002 and India’s very first Miss Tourism International and Miss Fresh Face 2002 the one and only ‘Candice Pinto’.

She’s a diva on the catwalk having walked Lakme and willis India Fashion week for several consecutive years, she’s also had her stint as a International model but she is a down to earth personality at heart, she’s won over the judges hearts time and time again since being crowned Gladrag’s Mega Model 2000 and went onto become India’s very first Miss Tourism International 2002 pageant also winning the Miss Fresh Face 2002 contest, nine years on and she is probably one of India’s most successful supermodels till date.

She’s walked international fashion shows for top designers and done international campaigns and graced the covers of over 50 magazines in India alone, so I thought why not track this stunner down and get an exclusive interview for our magazine and see what she thinks of it, say hello to the one and only gorgeous ‘Candice Pinto’.

1. Candice your one of the most successful supermodels in India what has been your secret to stay on top?

7. Why is there not many Asian models modelling internationally apart from the likes of Ujjwala Raut, Laxmi Menon?
its a choice you make and its nice to see Ujjwala and Laxmi out there, and there is alot of choices out here so i guess that’s the reason why we don’t see so many Indian models out there.

i grew up in this Industry Admiring Jesse Rancheria (Jesse was a finalist with Sushmita Sen and Aishwarya Rai in Miss India 1994, she came a close third and is still one of India’s most famous models on the runway) and she is my good friend now, and male I think Milind Soman was good on the ramp.
